Overview
The Cloudera Hadoop Connector allows users to leverage the Hive framework for analyzing large data sets, and the Impala framework to perform ad hoc real-time querying. The Hive framework can be used to perform analytics on long-running data transformation workloads as well as traditional data warehouse frameworks. The Impala framework complements this approach by enabling users to get focused result sets in an extremely quick manner when interacting with very large data sets, across all data silos.In addition to the Cloudera Hadoop Connector, Informatica Cloud also supports the Hortonworks Hadoop Connector for Hive.
