Application accelerators provide solutions to common data integration issues in an enterprise. Developing extract mappings to pull data from complex pre-packaged source applications for Data Warehousing or other projects is too time consuming and requires table by table selection. Also knowledge about relationships between tables making up business entities are in people’s heads and is not persisted, which makes the process complex and error prone.

Application Accelerator for Oracle E-Business Suite contains Oracle E-Business Suite demonstration mappings and data objects that you can import into the Model repository from an XML file to use with Informatica Developer (the Developer tool) and Informatica Analyst (the Analyst tool). The data objects are Oracle E-Business Suite entities and tables.
In the Developer tool, the Oracle E-Business suite tables and entities appear as physical data objects. Developer can run mappings or create target tables leveraging the sample script.
In the Analyst tool the Oracle E-Business Suite tables and entities appear as data objects. The Oracle E-Business Suite entity names appear as tags. You can search for Oracle E-Business suite data objects by tag in the Analyst tool.
