Preserve your PowerCenter repository metadata for the reporting purpose as long as you want without impacting the repository performance
Overview
This is a set of two workflows and documentation. The workflows load run-time metadata from the Informatica repository to one of two tables outside the repository. This preserves the data even after the repository logs are purged and allows trending and other reports to be run outside the repository. In this way, the data can be kept for as long as needed and the reports are not run against busy repository database. The workflows load Oracle tables but they can be modified to load any database.
