The Analytical reporting APIs enable you to create a client application that extracts reportable data from reporting facts and dimensions such as you would select in the user interface when creating an analytical report. For example, you could use these APIs to extract and report on the analytical data that you need to import to a customer's warehouse or create dashboards for trend assessment.

The Job results API for analytics allows you to request output from asynchronous jobs posted using the Job submission API for analytics. Requested output is batched into ZIP files containing 5000 records per file, and these can be downloaded one at a time. The maximum number of records returned is 50,000, or 10 files containing 5000 records per file. Files created in response to an asynchronous API query expire after 48 hours. As a best practice, we recommend the asynchronous usage when you update analytical data to your data warehouse.
