Overview

You can use Db2 for z/OS CDC Connector to connect to a PowerExchange for Db2 for z/OS change data capture (CDC) environment to retrieve change records for registered Db2 source tables.  

' - PowerExchange captures change records from the Db2 tables and logs the records in PowerExchange Logger for z/OS log files. The change records are then re-logged to a remote PowerExchange Logger for Linux, UNIX, and Windows so that the Db2 for z/OS CDC Connector can access the records.

Db2 for z/OS CDC Connector extracts change records from PowerExchange Logger for Linux, UNIX, and Windows log files and sends the records to Data Integration. Data Integration can then transmit the change records to a supported target.
